Friday was the launch party for Tortoise & Blonde at Duke & Winston. Tortoise & Blonde offers eyewear that is fresh and modern with a twist of vintage flair. Duke & Winston, located in Northern Liberties, is the company's 2nd location in the country to carry the brand, but if you can't make it to the store they offer an at home try-on program, too. Tortoise & Blonde believes that eyeglasses should be viewed like any other fashion accessory and with pricing starting at $77, you can get two for the price you would normally pay for one designer pair. My favorite style is the Nottingham in the Ice frame for $97. It's just what I've been searching everywhere for because of its versatility and instant style. There are tons of styles to choose from that can be made as prescription glasses or sunglasses, so the possibilities are endless.
