Who doesn't love the idea of a pop-up shop? That sense of limited availability and exclusiveness can be the ultimate rush for some fashion lovers. Well, it's time to rejoice shoppers because Kimpton's Hotel Palomar is hosting a Fashionaires, One Day Pop-Up Shop! Fashionaires is a hip vintage online boutique featuring brands such as Chanel, Oscar de la Renta and Dior for 80% less than designer and department store prices. This dream concept was started seven years ago by Jersey native and Drexel alum, Tara Destribats and her sister-in-law Tracey, by combining their over 15 years in the fashion industry. Shop a wide selection of ready to wear, handbags, accessories, and shoes all in the hotel's Presidential Suite. The shop opens at noon and continues until 7 p.m., but members of Kimpton's InTouch Loyalty Program get to attend a private pre-sale an hour earlier. On hand will be New York Stylist, Joe Delate, who has styled celebrities like Iman, Kyra Sedewick and Anna Paquin, to help with any fashion advice. Fashionaires and Hotel Palomar are encouraging shoppers to bring a new or nearly-new professional attire item, handbag or accessory for women of all sizes to be donated to Dress for Success. As a way to say thanks, donors will receive a special gift bag. So make sure you alert your phone calender because you don't wanna miss this!
