I tend to splurge on my mascaras. Some of my favorite brands include Givenchy, Lancome, Clinique, and Maybelline. We purchase makeup to enhance our looks and honestly it’s an expensive habit to keep up with. It’s frustrating when cosmetics sometimes dry out or become unusable before the product is completely finished or expires.
Instead of throwing away a dried up, half-used tube of mascara, try pouring 4-5 drops of saline eye drops into the bottle. Pump your mascara wand a few times and Voila! Your mascara should be good as new. It’s recommended to toss away your mascara after 3 months for the health of your eyes. Have fun in using this method to begin revitalizing and extending the life of your mascara!
