Take a psychedelic journey with Micheael Cera in his new film, Crystal Fairy, which has been called "one of the best films at this year's Sundance Film Festival, by the New York Times. The film tells the story about Jamie (Michael Cera) and three Chilean brothers who plan to set off in search of the prized San Pedro cactus and it's promise of beachy hallucinations. But in the previous night's drunken stupor Jamie invites a free-spirited fellow American, Gaby Hoffman, who's worry-free attitude gives them more of an experience than any of them had bargained for.
Crystal Fairy opens in Philadelphia on Friday, July 26 at The Ritz Bourse, but you can see a special advance screening on July 17 held at Liberty Lands at 9 pm. (926 N. American Street, Philadelphia, PA) While there, enjoy fun themed food made from the famous Cherry Bomb Bus food truck, owned by top chef contestant, Jennifer Zavala! They'll be serving up a few cactus based dishes, mushroom delicacies, and maybe even some chili!
