Natalia's V-Day Gift Guide

One of my favorite holidays is Valentine’s Day! A day to celebrate your love and to tell your loved one how much he/she means to you! I try my best to show it all year round, but on Valentine’s Day I try to go a bit further and be silly. The goal is to make Valentine’s Day super special for both you and your partner, going out to a nice dinner, exchanging gifts, and being romantic. I have to be honest with you, there are some times that I don’t really know what to get him, or worse give a repeated gift. Men are very simple, yet very complicated. This is the reason why I wanted to write this post. A little guide to find the perfect gift for this Valentine’s Day. But remember, the best gifts come from the heart!

For her:

1. Flowers - Every lady loves flowers. It makes them feel special and loved! So fellas, send your lady some flowers. Roses are a symbol of delicate beauty, and women just adore getting flowers.

2. Chocolate - Who doesn’t love a little chocolate? Valentine’s Day is the only day women can splurge and eat as much chocolate as they want. One suggestion, buy her good tasting chocolate, like Godiva. Stay away from the heart shaped box chocolate, it doesn't taste very good (and honestly it's a bit cheesy). 

3. Purse - We women are always in need of a new fashionable purse. This gift will not be a miss! Trust me, every girl would love a Michael Kors bag, or that one bag she’ve been eyeing all year round at the mall! This is your chance to impress her with your listening skills!

4. For Him:

1. Cologne - By giving men cologne as a gift, it’s giving you the power to make him smell the way you want them too! There's nothing more sexy to a women than a good smelling man! Plus, men love when you buy them gifts. Just make sure it’s a fragrance he will love.

2. Food & Wine - This is a very special gift. You can cook him dinner and he will be more than ok with it. Men are simple, all they need to know is that they are loved and appreciated. The saying goes like this, “The way to a man's heart is through his stomach”. Ladies, this is so true! Look up how to cook a delicious and romantic dinner for him. Also, it will give him a good thing to look forward to. You showing him that you know how to cook, it's a good sign for your future.

3. Men’s Accessories - Men are very simple like I mentioned before. They will not go out to buy things they need. It is very important that we are aware of the necessities they have. Buying things they need will make them feel appreciated and cared for. One example are a pair of Ray Ban's.I’m a sucker for Ray Ban's aviator sunglasses on men!
