At first when I thought of the Kia Soul, all I could think about were those hamsters. (Those commercials will probably be forever be imprinted in our brains.) Once I was asked to take the 2014 Kia Soul for a test drive, I decided to approach it with an open mind and I was really surprised. First off, this car is truly for the music lover! The Infinity sound system is probably the best I've ever heard in a car! I'm not sure if it has something to do with the shape of the car as well, but whatever it is, it works! While we're on the topic of sound, let's talk about the speakers. They come with two fun light settings: one that pulses with the beat and another that changes different colors randomly. What better way to set the mood for a night out!
Another one of my favorite things about the Kia Soul are all of the windows! There's so much natural light coming in from all 4 sides and the awesome panoramic sunroof is perfect for a drive to the shore. Summertime will be here and who doesn't hate wearing your shorts and burning your legs on leather seats? No need to worry any longer, just turn on the seat coolers and you'll feel as cool as you look. The dashboard works just like a tablet with tons of information right at your fingertips. Also there's an insane amount of trunk storage so you can shop 'til you drop. Let's not forget about the drive, which is really smooth. It's equipped with activeEco technology that helps you get around in a more fuel-friendly way. Overall, I really enjoyed my experience with the 2014 Kia Soul! There is much more to it than I expected. Interesting Fact: In Fall 2014, Kia will be releasing the 2015 Kia Soul EV Electric Car with even more impressive features. If you haven't had the chance to experience a Kia Soul for yourself, there's no better time than right now! So head over to your local Kia dealership and take one for a spin.
