Welcome to May everyone! For this month's Beauty Diaries were going to be focusing on hair! Recently, I've been styling my hair without a relaxer, which has been so far, so good, but summer is coming which means more humidity. Humidity is not good for hair, especially if you're trying to wear it straight without a relaxer. So I've been looking for different alternatives and hair care to get me through the season. 


Let's start with the easiest and most reliable option, a wig or hair extensions. This is also a great option if you're trying to give your hair a break from all the extreme heat of the flat iron, curling wand, or blow dryer. This piece that I'm wearing (shown above) is from Sherri Shepherd's new line of wig styles by LUXHAIR NOW. I'm a sucker for big curly hair, so I automatically gravitated towards the Curl Intense Lace Front wig! It's so cute and fun and not to mention easy to apply. After posting this pic on instagram, I received so many nice compliments on my new style! There's just something about having your hair done over that just makes you feel brand new!
