Last week, Macy's hosted an event in honor of Black History Month called "The Soul Era". There was a great panel discussion between three leading ladies in the fashion industry: Journalist Tai Beauchamp, Stylist June Ambrose, and Costume Designer Johnetta Boone! They talked about their careers, the power of networking and how to be great at what you love. They later invited the audience to participate in a Q&A discussion while enjoying some light refreshments.
The event ended with a meet and greet and a few pics. I had such a great time getting some inspirational knowledge from these fashionistas that are truly living their dream. They encouraged budding entrepreneurs to never give up, follow your dreams, and don't let anyone or anything hold you back.
