Preakness Season is here! Time to break out those derby hats and lovely dresses. Preakness at the Piazza takes place on Saturday, May 16 at The Piazza in Northern Liberties and with less then 10 days left you may need a little style inspiration if you have't found something to wear yet.

Last year, I wore black and white stripes with a pop of coral, but for 2015 I'm thinking florals will be the big trend. From maxi to midi to mini, there's plenty to choose from. A great pair of heels are a fun option, but you could also wear some stylish flats because there will be plenty of dancing! Not to mention a fashion contest in the following categories: Best Dressed Female and Male, Best Couple, Best hat, and Best Shoes. Eva Pilgrim of 6ABC, Philadelphia Magazine’s Bryan Buttler, PHL 17’s and former Miss Philadelphia Francesca Ruscio, President of Philadelphia Academies, Inc. and First Lady of Philadelphia Lisa Nutter, and “Men’s Style Pro” Founder Sabir Peele will be judging the fierce competition and winner's will receive a gift certificate from local stores, such as Boyd’s Philadelphia.
It's an event you won't want to miss all for a great cause, supporting the National MS Society! Since the beginning, this event has been close to my heart because my mother suffers from MS and every year Philadelphia really comes together to show their amazing support.
