Fashion Week S/S '17: Destani Hoffman

For S/S 2017, Destani Hoffman presents an eight piece capsule collection of evening wear. The collection is other-worldly in its inspiration, with a muted color palette of ivory, bronze, gold, pink and pale blues in textured fabrics of tulle chiffon and organza.

Destiny Hoffman an emerging womenswear designer handpicked by Fern Mallis as the winner of Charleston Fashion Week's (CFW) 2016 Emerging Designer Competition: East - launches her Spring Summer 2017 capsule collection as part of New York Fashion Week at the New York boutique, In Support Of.

If you've seen any of the Snow White and the Huntsman movies, these dresses are something I could see being worn on set. It was mysterious, mystical and fascinating like a dark fairy tale.

I also love the direction they took in makeup with gilded gold lips by ABP Makeup and long loose wavy hair styled by Michio Boorberg for Alterna Haircare.

All-in-all, I really loved this collection and I hope to see more from this talented designer!
