One of my top favorite events of the year is coming! Preakness at the Piazza is almost here and if you're not familiar with the event, it's a benefit for Multiple Sclerosis and one of the hottest fashion events of the year! It takes place on Saturday, May 20 from 5:00 PM to 9:30 PM at The Piazza.
This year marks the 5th year of fun and fashion to raise money for the National MS Foundation. To date, close to $500,000 have been raised and each year more and more of Philly's finest come out and show their support. Fashion of Philly has been a major supporter since the beginning as a fashion ambassador as this cause has close ties to my heart, since my mother has been diagnosed with MS.

Their current collection is full of beautiful, bright colors and patterns. My personal favorite was this tropical print, cold shoulder romper! It would be the perfect look for Preakness because of the eye-catching colors and flowy fabric to keep you cool while you're out dancing and breaking a sweat!
Now that we've got the outfit out the way, let's shop for a hat. Hats in the Belfry has an amazing selection of derby style hats and fascinators for any look. I personally like fascinators because you won't get too hot compared to wearing a wearing a hat. Below are just two of the styles that stood out to me.
