April Hair Care Round-Up

New hair products come out daily, so enjoy this monthly roundup of hair products I loved and some you might want to try in this month's Hair Care Round-Up.

Who doesn't love Avocados? They're full of vitamins and nutrients our bodies love. They're also good for your hair. NaturAll Club offers a Fresh (and we mean fresh) Avocado Deep Container Solution Box. NaturAll broke down the science of hair care by including only the best ingredients to bring your hair to life. With avocados, shea butter, coconut oil and tea tree oil it penetrates deep into the hair shaft to moisturize and feed your hair. What impressed me most about this product, is that it's so fresh, you have to refrigerate (or freeze) it. My hair responsed very well to the avocados, giving it the moisture it needed without leaving it feeling weighed down later.

1. Gently massage dry scalp with the Pramāsana™ Exfoliating Scalp Brush

For my curly girls, give your coils moisture and definition with Aveda's be curly style-prep. I personally love the Aveda Invati System! Within the first few uses, I really started to notice a change in my hair with less breakage leaving it thicker and healthier over all. Here's another tip: If you wear crochet braids, the Invati Advanced Scalp Revitalizer is great to use in between washes.

Maya Smith, International Master of Natural Curls and founder of The Doux®, a haircare line she created specifically for naturally curly hair, has seen the evolution of mousse from the very beginning to now. When it comes to advice for natural girls who want to switch up their styles, she says "Try something new. Gone are the days when heavy pomades and gels were your only styling options. Girls who have natural curls deserve to enjoy lighter products that are easy to apply, and create bounce and movement. Maximizing your natural God given hair is what’s popular now." I haven't tried this line yet, but it's on my wishlist. I absolutely love the packaging and the catchy product names.

With festival season approaching, you may want to play up your look by changing your hair. One fun trend that's still making waves is a bright colorful mane, but it may not work at your day job. No need to worry Splat offers a solution thanks to their recently released a new line of 10 Wash Hair Kits available in 5 bold colors lasting for 5 to 10 washes. If that's still little long for you, there's also a 1 wash  proprietary comb in applicator, perfect for the weekend.
