So I’m sure you heard the news by now, Rhianna’s lingerie brand Savage x Fenty will soon be opening brick-and-mortar stores around the US with one of the first opening in Las Vegas later on this month. Other store locations would include Los Angeles, Houston, Washington D.C. and PHILADELPHIA!!! I’m not going to lie, I’m excited, despite the fact that I have yet to try anything from the line. This is mostly because I can be a lil old fashioned in the sense that I would rather go to a physical store to feel the fabric, try it on, and/ or return if I need to. Yes, I know in a world with Amazon obsessed people, I most sound like I’m in the wrong era, but I have never been able to get too comfortable shopping for clothing online, especially lingerie.
After I heard that Philly, would be one of the locations set to open by the end of 2022, I took a trip to savagex.com to see what they had to offer and believe me the deals and styles were pretty tempting to try. With offers like 2 bras for $29, plus 50% site wide AND FREE SHIPPING, it seemed like a win, win situation. The brand has everything from undies, lingerie, sleep and loungewear including $25 onesies, and a newly added mens line. It’s kind of similar to sites that I’m already a member of like ShoeDazzle and Just Fab. First, they invite you to take a quiz to “discover your savage style”, then you can shop with free returns and exchanges, and save up to 25% on every style, every day. Hearing about the free returns and exchanges definitely peeked my interest.
Shipping is free on orders over $49 for Xrta VIP Members. They also get a yearly birthday surprise and extra time for returns and exchanges. So what’s the monthly charge for the perks of being a Xtra Vip Member? $49.95, but like the other sites I mentioned earlier, you can skip the monthly fee if you choose to before the 6th of each month and still enjoy the VIP perks. However, if you want to cancel your membership, you can do so online or by calling their customer service representative.
So after browsing everything from super comfortable to super lacey, I decided to sign up and treat myself. I purchased the Forever Savage Bralette, Forever Savage Booty Shorts, and 2 T-Shirt Bras in a size I hope will fit.
