Going in, I knew I wanted to try on one pair of jeans, a dress, and something from their Pure Jill Collection, which is made with fabrics that are easy to move around in. Trying on different type of clothes is definitely something I recommend when discovering a brand that's new to you. This is a great way to find out what pieces work for you from that particular brand. Not only may you find a few staple looks, but you may find a new style that you'll love.
Let's start with Look #1 A Border Print Maxi Dress ($129) paired with the Modern Utility Jacket ($119). This look was easy to put together and can go with a pair of strappy sandals or white tennis shoes, depending on the destination. If you live in the Philadelphia Tri-State area you know the weather in the spring can go from winter to spring to summer to fall all in one day! #IYKYK So, it was kind of a no brainer to add a jacket with a sleeveless dress.
Something I found noteworthy about J. Jill is they carry petite sizes, which is hard to find in most retailers nowadays, especially in stores. So if you're a petite gal, make sure you save one of these pics to your Pinterest board for a future reference.
